djay Pro AI supports various DVS interfaces. Many popular DVS mixers are pre-mapped for Plug'n'Play use with djay. Check their official website for the list of pre-mapped DVS mixers.

Step-by-step

Connect your DVS mixer to your mobile device. Depending on which device you’re using, you might need one of the following adapters:    

- iPad or Mac with USB-C port: USB-C to USB Adapter

- iPad or iPhone with Lightning port: Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter

Set the deck mode to “USB” to enable DVS mode.

Connect your Phase to a power supply (5V) using a USB cable.

Connect the Phase Receiver to the "Line" inputs of your mixer (or DVS soundcard) via RCA.

In the Phase Manager Setup tab, set the Phase DVS signal to “Custom” at 1000hz.

Open the djay app, enable DVS in the settings, and set the decks mode to "Relative".

Now, place your Remotes on top of your records, and wait a few seconds for the calibration to complete before you start spinning.

Do I need a DVS license to use Phase?
Yes, to use Phase, you'll need to use an interface that enables DVS. Phase doesn't act as a DJ sound card.
Can I use Phase with djay Pro AI via HID?
As of now, there is no dedicated HID integration available to use Phase with djay Pro AI directly via USB. We are working on bringing this feature to our djay users and are in contact with the Algoriddim teams. We hope to see this integration live soon. However, we do not have a specific development or delivery date to communicate at this time. Stay tuned for updates!
Can I use Phase with a controller as a mixer?
Yes, as long as your controller enables DVS. To learn more about the detailed set up check out our dedicated article on our Help center.
I'm not sure if my set up is compatible with Phase

Is Phase compatible with other DJ software? (Traktor, Rekordbox, Virtual DJ, etc.)
Absolutely, Phase DJ controller is compatible with any DJ software enabling DVS. All you need is a laptop, a DVS interface and a turntable and you're good to go!
