1. DJ Cheese (1986 winning DMC routine)

DJ Cheese's routine changed the DMC format forever. Before he came on the scene, DMC was all about perfect mixing, but he was the first to spotlight tricks, scratching, and visual elements in his performances.

After his game-changing win, DMC shifted towards a more hip-hop-focused championship, leaving behind its disco, funk, and electro roots.

2. DJ Craze (1999 World Finals)

Even 25 years later, it's still hailed as one of the most iconic routines ever. Calling it a technological masterpiece doesn't do it justice.

Craze blended technical skill with musicality, crafting a unique world where everything—tricks, transitions, and music—flows together perfectly.

3. DJ Qbert & Mix Master Mike (1993 winning DMC World Finals routine)

This performance marked a turning point in scratch techniques. DJ Qbert and Mix Master Mike seemed otherworldly with how advanced their routine was for its time.
